Pull up a seat, let’s replenish. This is your time.
Uliyán:
(Ulirát + Kamalayán = Uliyán)
Ulirát is the awarenesss of one's immediate physical or somatic space, and Kamalayán (consciousness) is the heart, mind, psyche.
Together, Uliyán Psychological Services is a therapy space promoting healing for the holistic and wholeness of the Self.

IS THIS YOU?
You show up & hold so much—for your communities, for your lineage, for change. You’re the one people turn to.
And yet—there’s a quiet exhaustion you carry.
A part of you longs to soften.
Another part wonders: Who am I outside of survival?
You might be navigating:
Burnout masked as high-functioning.
Identity and belonging as a woman of color.
Mothering/Parenting wounds, ancestral grief, or the ache of wanting to become a mother.
Intergenerational trauma that still speaks through your body.
A life that looks full—but feels far from aligned.
You are not broken. You're carrying more than one person should.
My practice is a place where you don’t have to carry it all alone.
IMAGINE IF...
You could sip tea with your FULL self - all the parts of you - instead of fighting them.
You felt rooted and resourced enough to CHOOSE both rest and creative defiance.
You understood your nervous system’s rhythms like a well-practiced flow — knowing when to yield, when to stand, and when to move from your center.
You begin to recognize the constellation of your psyche, your family, and to alchemize what you used to hide. You plant new rituals, reclaim inner ground, and mother yourself with grace.
Healing here is not linear. It's cyclical, like the moon.
Together, we follow your internal map—toward the version of you that feels whole, sacred, and home.
Hello! Thanks for comin’ by…
A little bit about Dr. Jean-Arellia Tolentino (CA: PSY34978)
I am: a psychologist, a researcher, a community organizer, an educator, a Filipina American, a daughter/mother/grieving mother/sis/partner, and the list goes on.
I share this, because often therapists don’t, and to share that my work as a therapist has been cultivated from a myriad of paths I’ve taken!
Therapy with me is like tea time: warm, spacious, invitational, and sometimes uncomfortable in the way truth often is. I believe healing can feel like art, like flow, like time-traveling & remembering. Thanks for crossing paths with my page, and if what I do & how I do what I do sparks your curiosity, stay for a session or eight, and let’s see what’s brewing!
Work with me
I offer gentle, depth-oriented care for educators, professionals, space-holders, activists, artists, and those walking a healing path.
Holding space for space-holders is sacred.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY | WORKSHOPS & TRAININGS | SUPERVISION + CONSULTATION
I’m a therapist rooted in a trauma-informed constellation of healing paths. My work weaves together Internal Family Systems (IFS), parts work, inner child and shadow healing, somatic and polyvagal work, and ancestral knowing. Through this, I support your whole being—mind, body, spirit, and story.
I also love who I work with — because…
I believe your capacity to rest is also your capacity to rebel.
Offerings
Supervision & Clinical Consultation
For therapists and healing practitioners cultivating ethical, decolonial, trauma-informed care.
Rooted in collaboration, self-reflection, and mutual respect, these spaces feel more like tending a garden than checking a box.
Come home to yourself while tending the fire for what you believe in.
Individual Therapy
Speaking Engagements & Trainings
For organizations, teams, and communities wanting embodied, liberatory learning.
Healing doesn’t mean retreating from the world.
It means returning to yourself with more clarity, compassion, and capacity.
I believe rest is resistance.
That tending the inner terrain allows us to move through the outer world with rooted power.
This alchemy work looks like….
Turning burnout into becoming
Grief into growth
Rupture into regenerative care
Rest into steady revolution
It’s a dance and fighting arts of discipline and softness: fluid yet fierce, grounded yet adaptive.
